I wrote this over 2 years ago to express the joy experienced in being a grandparent. Many people share this wonderful feeling. Ellie is now 5 and more fun than ever.

Bard (or to become a bard) is a suggested program which grows out of a modern day trend. More and more grand parents are caring for children or children of their children. Practical applications are for parents of young children and those who wish to mentor. This course of study was developed by myself in 1999 and was only partially implemented prior to the dissolution of the CL program of GeoCities. I rewrote it to fit the needs of today.

"Aging has made me internally fearless, except when I have to expose my external shell." A trip to the mall with my grandson put my Nana head on straight and helped me overcome my fear of growing old in his eyes.

My grandmother lived in Eastern Kentucky. She had purchased a picture from a second hand store that she told me stories about for many years. As life would have it, Antique Roadshow said it was an original Anheuser Busch poster.
